Use the brush with WHITE ink and then duplicate this layer
three times so you now have 4 layers.
Then, on the 4th layer invert the color (ctrl I).
This gives you 3 white brush stroke layers with 1 black
brush stroke on the top, resulting in a greyscale image.
For the color, the above 4 layers were merged and then a gradient overlay
with a 30% - 50% opacity was applied together with a soft drop shadow.
